I hope you can help. We are a party of 4 going to Budapest this coming weekend. We like to party, but as always many of the hottest bars and especially clubs are dominated by younger people Even if we're 35 we like the new music and a good party :. Definitely go to some of the ruin pubs do either Szimpla Kert or Instant my Fave less touristy and better music both nice and unique and the drinks are very reasonably priced. Both places seem to have a broad mix of clientele from locals to tourists from old to young.
Cheap beers and good music only add to their pluses. A38 Bar and club has live music decent food and good vibe located on an old Soviet Ship docked right on the Danube. Liszt Ferenc ter has a bunch of good watering holes and seems to be filled with locals and tourists alike. I'll check the list and we will definitely give Simpla Kert and Instant a try. I've seen Simpla Kert been mentioned a lot in Budapest forums. Again thanks!
As an "old guy" over 30, I understand the question. Also - I don't know where you're staying so I'll target central city. The drinks are not the cheapest for local places which tends to draw a bit older crowd Also, it's quite large so you can pick a quiet corner or be in the center with the DJ. City center district VII. An oasis. Lots of tables, cold drinks, nice fresh air.
Usually hit here post City center Blaha Ljusza ter. Holduvar - this is on Margit Island. If the weather holds - suppose to be OK this weekend - this place is solid. We go for dinner solid food and then around the music kicks in and the pretty people show up not me.
A fun outdoor place that is unpretentious. Jermy F; Thank you very much for your informative reply - just what I need The places you describe seem to be just what we're looking for. We're staying downtown on the Pest side. Yes turning 40 is most about a number - we still like to party.. This topic has been closed to new posts due to inactivity.
